Walt Disney Pictures has unveiled a new TV spot for "Alice Through the Looking Glass." This clip shows a closer look of this show's new character, Time, played by Sacha Baron Cohen.
"Alice Through the Looking Glass" features Mia Wasikowska's return as Alice. According to The Malay Mail Online, the video unveils Mia Wasikowska as Alice while going into a mirror and to the Underground, where she sees an ill Mad Hatter played by Jonny Depp.
Screen Rant reports that new characters for "Alice Through the Looking Glass" has also been announced. These include Rhys Ifans as Mad Hatter's father Zanik Hightopp and Sacha Baron Cohen as Time. Other characters are the Red Queen (Helena Boham Carter) and the White Queen (Anne Hathaway).
"Alice Through the Looking Glass" will make the audience hold their breath as through memorable characters inspired by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson's (Lewis Carroll) stories. In "Alice Through the Looking Glass," Alice has to go on an adventure to rescue her much loved friends in the Underworld with the help of Time.
According to Movie Web, Linda Woolverton penned the script based on Lewis Carroll's classic creation while James Bobin will direct it, carrying his own style to Wonderland. In 2010, Tim Burton also directed "Alice in Wonderland," which was produced by John G. Scott, Joe Roth, Suzanne Todd, Jennifer Todd and Tim Burton.
The most awaited "Alice Through the Looking Glass" film hits U.S. theaters on May 27, 2016. Sources say it will be launched in Digital 3D, Real D 3D and IMAX 3D. This could be an epic box office showdown during that day because the film will be unveiled the same day with "X-Men: Apocalypse." Watch the trailer of "Alice Through the Looking Glass" below.
