Identical Twins Share Boyfriend, Vow To Get Pregnant At The Same Time

Identical twins Anna and Lucy DeCinque, from Perth of Western Australia, are sharing more than the identical diet, phone numbers, clothes, hairstyles and cosmetic enhancements. They also share the same bed and boyfriend, and have vowed to get pregnant at the same time as their bodies "need to be the same."

The Daily Mail reported that the 30-year-old sisters, who have been dating electrical mechanic Ben Byrne for four years, appeared on the program Insight, a current affairs and discussion show of Australian TV network SBS. In the show, the pair shared their plans of falling pregnant and having children together.

The DeCinque twins disclosed that they are not yet ready to get pregnant. However, Anna said, "If I got pregnant, Lucy would definitely get pregnant straight way—because our bodies need to be the same."

"We would try to make that happen, definitely," the twins vowed. "We would have to be exactly the same - even if we went through IVF at the same time."

Aside from revealing their plans of getting impregnated at the same time, the pair had also discussed in the show how they changed and developed throughout the years. They shared that they have been inseparable since they were little kids. As they grew older, they had become closer and wanted everything to be 100 percent even between them.

"If she walks a few meters, I need to walk a few meters because we have to burn the same calories," Lucy disclosed. "Our diet is identical. Our food has to be identical. The same glass of water we measure. The same size of chip packets we have to measure."

According to news.com.au, the DeCinque sisters caught the public attention years ago after various media outlets featured their unorthodox relationship arrangement with their 32-year-old boyfriend Byrne. It was also reported that the twins spent almost $250,000 in a decade for cosmetic enhancements and beauty treatments just to look more identical. They were also dubbed as the "world's most identical twins" by a Japanese prank TV show, after a facial recognition technology failed to identify them apart.
