Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Divorce: 'BVS' Star Speaks About Co-Parenting and Relationship with Garner

Last June, a day before their 10th wedding anniversary, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their split. Their high profile marriage is rumored to be on the rocks prior to their announcement. However, after breaking up it seems that things are getting better between the "Daredevil" couple.

When the "BVS" star and the "Miracles from Heaven" star decided to end their marriage, they chose to co-parent their three children Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4. They also opted to live together for their kids.

"The main thing is these kids - and we're completely in line with what we hope for them," Garner told Vanity Fair. "Sure, I lost the dream of dancing with my husband at my daughter's wedding. But you should see their faces when he walks through the door. And if you see your kids love someone so purely and wholly, then you're going to be friends with that person."

Hearing this from Garner, Affleck told Ellen DeGeneres that his relationship with his ex-wife is great and that they are doing their best in co-parenting, Entertainment Weekly reported. "We're good friends and we're doing our best and our kids are fabulous and we're working our best for them," he said.

As People puts it, Garner and Affleck are at their closest following their publicized split. One source told the publication that it took a while for the ex-couple to figure out a new normal in their not so usual arrangement. The pair is determined to do what's best for their family and their efforts seem to be working.

In an interview with New York Times, Affleck disclosed that Garner and their kids would be visiting him in Europe while he films "Justice League." The family will be spending their vacation there as one.
