'Grimm' Season 5 Spoilers: Adalind Struggles on Her Power; Captain Renard Joins Black Claw?

The upcoming episodes of NBC's supernatural drama, "Grimm" will be filled with thrill and suspense. According to new reports, the characters will be facing a new set of challenges that may break or make them.

Ecumenical News reported that Adalind would have to battle the beast within her. In the last episode of "Grimm," the Hexenbiest resurfaces in her again, which makes her perplexed. She is afraid that she might lose control.

At the time, Adalind and Nick's relationship is getting better. The pair is on the verge of developing something other than co-parenting Kelly but this surprisingly awakens the wesen in Adalind.

Per the report, Adalind grew from a hateful protagonist into someone that the audience learns to love. Her constant battle to be the best version of herself makes her vulnerable and more relatable to most viewers, who go through the same struggles.

Will the wesen in Adalind ruin her progressing relationship with Nick? Will she get over it alone or will someone help her?

Meanwhile, there are speculations that Captain Renard might join the wesen vigilante group, Black Claw in the upcoming episodes. Per "Grimm" co-executive producer David Greenwalt there are high chances that the Black Claw will recruit Captain Renard. He added that there's a reason why they took his political ally during a public rally.

"Portland is geographically important in the Northwest," Greenwalt told Yahoo! TV. Plus, Black Claw just might have plans for Captain Renard."

He hinted that the "Grimm" audience will find out Captain Renard's decision whether he join the Black Claw or not in "Grimm" season 5 episode 13.

On a separate note, according to SpoilerTV, the official synopsis of "Silence of the Slams" revealed that Nick and his friends would track down a local mask maker who has been killing Wesen. The local mask maker believes that using the features of a Wesen in his mask will give the wearer great power.

Will their next adventure put Nick, Hank, Monroe and Rosalee in grave danger? Let's see.

"Grimm" season 5 airs Fridays at 9 p.m. on NBC.
