'GTA 6' News & Updates: The Game Will Come in 2019 With Full VR Support

According to new reports, Rockstar will most likely release "Grand Theft Auto 6" sometime in the year 2019 or 2020. "Grand Theft Auto 6" will come with full support for virtual reality (VR).

Previous reports suggest that Rockstar will push the release date of "GTA 6" to 2019 or 2020 because the game developer studio wants to release the game for the next-generation consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Two. New reports suggest that another reason might be the fact that Rockstar also wants to release the game with full support for virtual reality.

Today, "Grand Theft Auto" is among the best gaming franchises on the market. The most successful installment from the game series is "GTA 5," which is one of the most played games currently. The game developer Rockstar is working hard on the upcoming "GTA 6" game in order to make it as popular as the "GTA 5."

If the rumors about the full VR support in "GTA 6" will prove to be right, players will be able to immerse in an exciting game experience by using the power of the VR headsets. Game industry analysts believe that VR gaming is the future. However, according to GigJets, not many developers are ready to release games that will support this new feature.

Rockstar president Leslie Benzies revealed in an interview with Develop that the company has put in a fair amount of thought about the future of the company and what the upcoming "GTA 6" game title will be. Apart from the virtual reality support, Rockstar might include more weapons and missions in "GTA 6" in order to keep the play experience more exciting.

There are also speculations that suggest that the "GTA 6" game title will come with a bigger map that will include maps from previous versions of "GTA" game franchise. In order to complete missions on each of those maps, players will be able to teleport from a map to another.

So far, Rockstar did not confirm any of these rumors about "GTA 6." Fans of the "GTA" game franchise still have to wait and see whether these speculations will prove to be true.
