Bayonetta, Scalebound Dev's TMNT Game Release Date Announced

Platinum Games finally announced the release date of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan" via an IGN clip hosted on YouTube this week. The launch of the upcoming action game will be on May 24 and is currently under development.

Bebop, Rocksteady, and the cyborg shark Armaggon are the other characters that was featured in the teaser. The games shows the beginning of the clash between the Turtles and the Foot as well as the first attack of the Foot Clan in New York City, per Game Spot.

Before Activision announced the release date of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan" in January, some of its content have reached the hands of leaksters. According to WISN, he Australian Classification Board first divulged the details about "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan."

After that, a lot of photos leaked online, making the game one of the worst games to keep its details under wraps.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows," the next sequel of the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" film series, will be out in theaters on June 3. Before the film's release, its game version will have an earlier release on May 24. It will be available on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" was also released as a game last 2013 for Xbox 360 and PC and in 2014 for the PS3. It was produced by Activision and developed by Red Fly Studio. However, the said game was not that successful as it had a lot of issues.

Platinum Games is well known for its gameplay and experience working on several action games, including the critically acclaimed "Bayonetta 2" as well as "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance." Currently, Platinum Game is developing "Star Fox Zero," "Nier: Automata" and Xbox One-exclusive "Scalebound."
