The production for "Doctor Strange" is underway and a few months from now Benedict Cumberbatch will be on the big screens as "Doctor Strange". New reports suggest that Chiwetel Ejiofor is cast for the role of Baron Mordo and the actor revealed some juicy details about his role.
In an interview with Collider, Ejiofor revealed that he is a big fan of Marvel films and his fondness for "Guardians of the Galaxy" made him realize that he wants to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
For those wondering how Ejiofor got the role for "Doctor Strange," the actor revealed that he met with Kevin Feige and told the president of Marvel Studios about his intentions.
"So I met with Kevin [Feige] and basically said, 'Listen, I'm excited to get involved so let me know what is going on.' And then Doctor Strange was what we started to talk about," Ejiofor said. "Getting into that universe and getting into that kind of concept was so thrilling, and even then having these conversations of what was going to happen with it and what they were going to visually attempt was incredible to me."
Ejiofor admitted that he is enjoying "Doctor Strange."
Meanwhile, new reports suggest that "Doctor Strange" includes one of the two remaining Infinity Stones. Marvel fans knew how important these stones are, which makes it a major element in the film.
Per Movie News Guide, four of the Infinity Stones are already introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the rumor mills suggest that the fifth Infinity Stone will be introduced in "Doctor Strange."
