Movie Pilot featured the trailer for the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse," which gives off a sense of foreboding. The sequel to "X-Men: Days of Future Past" is set in 1983 and highlights another villain, an ancient mutant called "Apocalypse," who is portrayed by Oscar Isaac.
Things seemed to be getting worse for our mutant heroes with the revival of Apocalypse after thousands of years. "You are all my children and you're lost because you follow blind leaders. No more false gods," says Apocalypse.
Aside from the introduction of "Apocalypse," the "X-Men: Apocalypse" trailer also showed a lot of mutant stand-offs. Wired added more information about the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse." With the awakening of Apocalypse comes a sense of doom as he hopes to lead the new era of mutants.
To accomplish his mission, he recruits the Four Horseman which consists of Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Psylocke (Olivia Munn) and Angel (Ben Hardy). Psylocke and Angel are the latest mutants joining the "X-Men" franchise. "Apocalypse" and his Four Horseman plan to cleanse the earth and create a brand new empire of super powered humans.
To stop these villains, the X-Men need to eliminate Apocalypse and his band of mutants. The X-Men is led by Professor X (James McAvoy), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) with the addition of young Jean Grey (Sophia Turner), Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) and Quicksilver (Evan Peters).
