Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are no where near a break up as some have speculated. The country singers, who have been rumored to be heading for divorce, have confirmed they're happier than ever.
"(Rumors) seem to be running like crazy right now for some reason. It's perplexing," Hill, 46, told People. "I don't know why 'happy' can't be a story."
Faith Hill insists they are "absolutely not" splitting.
However, this is not the first time the singers have been speculated of having marriage problems. The couple, who got married in 1996, have faced reports of their marriage's "impending doom."
"We've been married 17 years and since the first week we were married those things were out," McGraw, 46, added. "We don't even think about it. The only time we ever think about it is (when we) worry about the kids. But they've been around it, too, so they laugh it off."
"We don't even know where this stuff came from," Hill told ET. "[The children] know the truth . . . the people that you're around they know the truth."
Faith noted on one true statement; that tragedy always sells in the media, not happiness.
"I don't know why happiness doesn't sell," Hill complained of the split rumors. "I don't know why tragedy sells and untruth sells!"
Faith and Tim share three children together -- daughters, Gracie, 16, Maggie, 15, and Audrey, 12. They talked about having five kids, but wound up with three.
"No more kids," she said. "Actually before we got married, that's how we knew . . . we talked about five [children] and then we made it to three."
