Yibada reported that Nintendo already confirmed that "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" would be released anytime this year. Per the reports, these games are the replacement of the rumored "Pokemon Z" that never see the light of day.
For those who can't wait for the progress of "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon," GoNintendo reported that there would be a big reveal about these games on April 15. The anticipated report will be featured in the April 15 issue of CoroCoro Magazine and the publication teases that the info will be huge.
According to Gotta Be Mobile, "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" will be the finale of the 20th anniversary of the franchise that per Nintendo has generated over 200 million sales since its introduction. Thus, it is likely that the twin "Pokemon" games will be released during the 2016 holiday season.
Meanwhile, CinemaBlend reported that there are rumors that "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" will be tied into the Nintendo NX and that the game will be in full 3D. Moreover, there are speculations that the new "Pokemon" games will upscale to an anti-aliased HD version when played on Nintendo NX.
These "Pokemon" game concepts might sound radical, but they are not impossible at all. In fact, many gamers believe that Nintendo NX could be a cross-breed system that could work both as handheld games and a home console.
For those who can't wait for the "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" release dates, NeuroGadget reported that 3DS owners could start to order the upcoming "Pokemon" titles in as early as November or perhaps, months before the Christmas season.
The reported noted that in 2011, it took eight months when "Pokemon Black and Whited" was first announced and released. Almost similar time gap was observed in "Pokemon X and Y," where fans waited for nine months before the games hit the store shelves in 2012.
