"Tom Clancy's The Division," Ubisoft's latest shooter RPG game, benefits from more excitement and immersive gaming experience due to its large open world with great graphics and lots of action.
According to DentonRC.com, "The Division" is a more exciting game than users are accustomed from the Ubisoft publisher. Some of Ubisoft's games are boring even if the publisher's development teams are good at rafting large open worlds.
"Tom Clancy's The Division" is anything but boring. The new third-person role-playing/shooter game hybrid can even be a bit difficult. Players are cast as agents of a secret, sleeper-cell group of special forces. The Division agents are only deployed when things are on the brink of catastrophe.
On Black Friday, a new strain of the smallpox virus is released via paper money in modern-day New York. After things go full-blown pandemic, New York gets shut down. In the post-apocalyptic scenario that follows thieves, prison breakers and gangs run the city. At this moment the only hope is the Division that is sent out to take the city back.
While post-apocalyptic scenarios are nothing new, "The Division" is a unique concept. "Tom Clancy's The Division" is taking cues from other games such as "Destiny". Players have to team up with other real people in the forms of squads, explore an open world and take down bad characters. Credits can be earned to upgrade your base of operations as you progress. Missions in "The Division" game are usually split between medical credits, tech credits and security credits.
Overall, "The Division" is pretty good both as an RPG and a third-person shooter. The action is exciting and there is a lot to do in the game. Except a couple of maintenance blackouts, the servers are holding up fairly well.
Unfortunately, according to The Express, right now, players are reporting that they are unable to log on to the game in North America. So far, Ubisoft has not released any comments about what is currently causing the latest outage. Those players who were able to log back into "The Division" online are also reporting that they have found that their Phoenix Credits built up during their most recent playtime have disappeared.
