Robert Downey Jr. is one of the highest paid actors during the "Iron Man" film era. Hence, people are wondering as to why the Robert Downey Jr. would want to stop playing as Iron Man.
Now, "Captain America: Civil War" directors, the Russo brothers, have something to say about the "Iron Man" issue and about Robert Downey Jr. According to them, they believe that if Robert Downey Jr. will no longer play Iron Man then there might be no Iron Man at all. The Russo brothers tackled the issue for recasting if ever there is a star who will not join the cast of "Avengers: Infinity War" and even "Iron Man 4."
"It's almost impossible to replace Robert, he's the biggest movie star in the world. One close up from Robert is worth another actor's entire performance, he's incredibly gifted and insanely talented. I think if and when he is done with the character I think you will find that Iron Man might disappear for a while," the Russo bothers commented.
As to the possibility of Iron Man not being possible if Robert Downey Jr. will no longer portray the hero, the Russo brothers have come up with a solution and they say that to be able to create a new Iron Man.
