Robots To Take Over The Fast Food Industry; Are You Ready For This?

Robots are soon to run the world of the fast food industry thanks to the brilliant mind of Andy Puzder, Carl's Jr. and Hardee's CEO. Companies might benefit a lot from it and customers might actually like it, but employees of working for them are more likely to go on a protest, as soon as robots officially start doing their work.

Puzder's shared this idea with Business Insider explaining the advantages of having robots take over the jobs that humans used to do. He told the publication the many reasons why fast food restaurants should consider this and among them are that fact that these robots are "always polite, they always up-sell, they never take a vacation, they never show up late, there's never a slip-and-fall, or an age, sex, or race discrimination case."

In an article published by Munchies, the CEO of Carl's Jr. and Hardees said that a restaurant called Eatsa actually inspired him with his idea. The said restaurant functions without human workers serving people and it is something that he sees would happen both on the stores that he works for.

Leap year = a whole extra day of burgers. Boom.

Puzder is adamant in applying the same concept in Carl's Jr. and Hardees saying, "We could have a restaurant that's focused on all-natural products and is much like an Eatsa, where you order on a kiosk, you pay with a credit or debit card, your order pops up, and you never see a person."

Should all fast food stores follow Eatsa's footsteps, companies won't have to pay for human wages every month and it will surely help them cut down on their expenses. It seems like a good move for companies too according to Puzder since the government just keeps on increasing the labor cost, which consequently drives down the amount of jobs available.
