Jason Scott Mesnick, bachelor of the 13th season of the reality dating show "The Bachelor" and wife Molly Mesnick are going to have a baby.
The overjoyed couple confirmed the news to People magazine.
"Our family is getting a little bit bigger!" mom-to-be shared her happiness with People magazine. "I'm into my second trimester and I feel really good."
Later Jason and Molly confirmed the news on Twitter.
"Yes its true! WAHOOOOOOO!!! Molly is going to be a MOM and TY a BIG BROTHER! YIPPEEEEEEE!" Jason wrote.
"I step away for 5 minutes & come back to a ton of love. Thank you! We couldn't be more excited about the pint size peanut on the way :)," Molly wrote.
Messages from well-wishers are pouring into the expecting mom's Twitter account since then.
"I am SO excited for your new addition! I just KNOW that nursery is going to be UHHMAZiNG!" Jillian Harris, a former Bachelorette wrote.
The baby is due in March. Jason has a son, seven-year-old Ty from a previous marriage.
Jason who met Molly at "The Bachelor" strengthened their relationship by breaking up with Bachelor fiancée Melissa Rycroft and tying the knot with Molly in 2010 in California.
Ty is quite happy with his promotion as a big brother. "He's been so excited to be a big brother," Jason, told the People.
He shared the news with his son through a family game of hang man.
"The answer was 'Tyler is going to be a big brother,'" he told People. "He's been asking me for years. He's always wanted to be a big brother. So we played the game and he looked at Molly and I and said 'Really?' Molly made him a t-shirt that says 'Big Brother' on it and he's really proud. He wore it to school."
