‘Royal Pains’ Season 8 Cast, News: Mark Feuerstein Joins ‘Prison Break’ Revival, Musical Final Season Goes To Hong Kong

"Royal Pains" Season 8, which stars "Prison Break" actor Mark Feuerstein, will be the final season for the hit American series. As endings go "Royal Pains" Season 8 is determined to wrap up the series with a bang.

According to Reality TV World, "Royal Pains" Season 8 will take the cast and guest stars on a trip to Hong Kong in one of its arcs. Details are still well under wraps for the plot workings on Hong Kong in "Royal Pains" Season 8. However, this will not be the only twist that fans will have to watch out for in "Royal Pains" Season 8.

"Dancing With The Stars" attraction, Cloris Leachman, will be joining "Wolf Of Wall Street" actress Christine Ebersole in "Royal Pains" Season 8. A musical is well and truly happening during the run of "Royal Pains" Season 8. The show's 100th episode will also be celebrated in "Royal Pains" Season 8.

"Royals Pains" co-executive producers Andrew Lenchewski and Michael Rauch gave a joint statement on the show's close. The pair expressed their gratefulness in being able to develop and complete "Royal Pains" on their terms. The president of entertainment networks for NBCUniversal, Chris McCumber, also took the time to specifically thank Mark Feuerstein and showrunners Michael Rauch and Andrew Lenchewski along with the "Royals Pains" cast.

TV.com reports that "Royals Pains" Season 8 does seem to promise a final salvo to watch out for. "After years in the Hamptons as everyone's favorite concierge doctor, Hank (Feuerstein) must decide if his professional fulfillment equals his personal fulfillment. Evan (Paulo Costanzo) and Paige (Brooke D'Orsay) endure challenging marital decisions and must examine what family really means to them," the "Royals Pains" Season 8 stated.

Interestingly, "Royal Pains" lead Mark Feuerstein will not be so far removed from the medical world with his newly lined up project, the "Prison Break" revival. The "Royal Pains" star has been tapped for the role of Scott Ness, who is married to the character played by Sarah Wayne Callies, Dr. Sara Tancred. Sarah Wayne Callies is widely known for her work as Lori Grimes in "The Walking Dead."

"Royals Pains" Season 8 is scheduled to have eight installments. Mark Feuerstein and the gang will be seen in "Royals Pains" Season 8 come May 18.
