It's been four years since "iCarly" ended on television and as reboot is the buzzword in Hollywood these days, is the teen sitcom jumping the bandwagon? "iCarly" star Miranda Cosgrove is not opposed to the idea of reuniting with the cast and she even has some suggestions on what they can do.
Miranda Cosgrove was doing the press rounds for her new TV show, "Crowded" for NBC and she was asked about her opinion on getting back together with her "iCarly" cast members. "Yeah, I would totally do a reunion," confirmed Cosgrove via Huffington Post. The actress also said that she pretty much kept in touch with her "iCarly" best friend, Jennette McCurdy, who played Sam Puckett on the show. "She sleeps over at my house all the time."
Cosgrove was only about 14-years-old when "iCarly" started on the Nickelodeon channel and from the beginning, her character's mother was not tackled in the series. "I'd love to know what happened with Carly's mom," Cosgrove said and hinted a potential storyline for the reunion, should it happen. "Cause no one ever told me and I'm still wondering about that."
Fans of "iCarly" have long speculated that the character's mother died when Carly was younger, but this was never confirmed by the show's creators. It remains a mystery even after the show ended, which is why Cosgrove's idea makes sense.
The reunion might not immediately happen though as the actress is busy attending college at the University of Southern California, aside from her sitcom commitments in "Crowded." But she did make time to be with her "iCarly" group back in November, when Nathan Cress married London Elise Moore.
Miranda Cosgrove attended the wedding with McCurdy another co-star, Jerry Trainor, per People. McCurdy shared a photo of the three of them as they headed to the wedding on her Instagram.
