Marvel fans are gearing up for one of the anticipated blockbuster film this year, "Captain America: Civil War." However, the chaos and disorder in Marvel Cinematic Universe will not be over in "Civil War" because the Avengers will once again reunite in the two-part film, "Avengers: Infinity War."
In fact, according to WhatCulture, the Russo Brothers' film "Captain America: Civil War" which stars Chris Evans as Captain America and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, will set up the epic events that fans will witness in the two-part film "Avengers: Infinity War" which is scheduled in 2018 and 2019.
Parent Herald previously reported that "Avengers: Infinity War" will include 68 characters and with these wide roster fans will surely see new superheroes. According to new reports the Russo brothers who helmed "Captain America: Civil War" will introduce new characters in "Avengers: Infinity War."
Among the new face that Marvel fans will see in "Avengers: Infinity War" are Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange who will be introduced in the post-credits of "Captain America: Civil War" and Chadwick Boseman's peacekeeping superhero character, Black Panther.
To help the audience caught up with the countless characters that they will see in "Avengers: Infinity War," Marvel is planning to create One Shot, CinemaBlend reported. One Shot are short films that dealt with the supporting characters and side plots.
These short films are set to be released in between movies. However, one of the concerns is the fading popularity of DVDs and if One Shot will be released in this medium will it be sold out? The Russo brothers seem to find a way.
"We can't go into too many details about this but we are thinking, very specifically, about [how] to do new ways of what you are talking about with Avengers: Infinity War," Anthony Russo told Forbes.
