Prince William Flaunts Singing Skills with Rock Legend Jon Bon Jovi at a Royal Event (WATCH)

Prince William can do more than perform royal errands. This he proved at an event by singing with rock legend Jon Bon Jovi and pop star Taylor Swift.

Stunning guests at the Winter Whites Gala at Kensington Palace, Prince William sang the chorus to Bon Jovi's 'Livin' On a Prayer' after the 51-year-old singer asked William to join him.

The trio's performance left the audience mesmerized. The event was held to raise funds for charity organization Centrepoint, under Prince William's patronage. Centrepoint, so far, has helped 95,000 young homeless people. He was seen interacting with lots of youngsters at the Gala.

"This is a great event and everyone's so pleased to be here for a cause that really matters. Centrepoint and the JBJ Soul Foundation have hooked up with similar goals and I'm being honoured with an award tonight from Prince William, which I'm very proud of," Jon Bon Jovi told Sky News.

Mirror reported that the 31-year-old royal joked about twerking to a performer. "He was like: 'would it put you off if I was dancing?' and I said 'no, I want you to listen - dancing and listening.' And the prince said 'yeah that's fine' and then he started doing a little twerking. I said 'no thanks, no twerking thanks'," 22-year-old Olivia Sabat said before she was about to perform with Taylor and Bon Jovi.

Bon Jovi seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed the event. "Nights like this happen once in a lifetime but the chance to affect change can last a lifetime. Each one of you tonight have that chance to affect change," he said.
