Fans of the famed “Tekken 7” might be glad to hear that the arcade fighting game might get ported to the PC! “Tekken 7” maker Bandai Namco is currently holding a lengthy in-depth survey, which might signify that they are planning to release the game for the PC.
According to PC Gamer, the survey is done to measure the level of interest that the public has in a PC version of “Tekken 7,” which is still yet to arrive in the West. Should the famed fighting franchise be ported to the PC, this will happen as a first for the title (save for the muddled “Street Fighter X Tekken”), and an unexpected (but probably much desired) event, reports Tweak Town.
Although the port is still yet to be seen, it’s expected that making a PC version for the highly-successful franchise won’t be hard for Bandai Namco. After all, “Tekken 7: Fated Retribution” runs on Unreal Engine 4, which is believed to make the port operate smoothly.
Although “Tekken 7: Fated Retribution” has been confirmed to have a PS4 release sometime in 2016, Bandai Namco hasn’t announced a release for an Xbox One and Nintendo NX version, reports Attack of The Fanboy. Other “Tekken” games have made it into the Xbox 360 and Wii U consoles as well as the Gameboy Advance handheld.
Having “Tekken 7” ported to the PC will mean that a great fighting game title will be added to the MOBA and RTS games commonly listed in PC game libraries. And with “Street Fighter’s” Akuma coming into the “Tekken” fray, it just gets even better.
Of course, those who participate in the survey are bound to an agreement of confidentiality, so expect that survey details will not be found. If you’re interested, you can take the survey for yourself through this link.
