There are non-stop talks about the upcoming sequel of the blockbuster animated film "Frozen." Many are wondering what takes "Frozen 2" so long. In fact, there are rumors that the anticipated film may not hit the big screens anymore.

Parent Herald previously reported that "Frozen 2" is cancelled to give way for its Broadway version. There are talks that there will be a "Frozen" special instead.

However, in a separate report from Parent Herald, Kristen Bell explained the delay of the "Frozen 2." "The story is great, and they exude quality. What I know about that whole team is that they wouldn't just put something out to put it out," Kristen Bell told Collider about the progress of "Frozen 2".

"That's why it took them so long to even announce that we were doing a second one," Kristen Bell added. "Generally, when you have a first successful movie you want to make a second one. It took them a while because they wanted to figure out what story they needed to tell and what would be important and engaging and I think they found it."

Yes, for fans waiting for "Frozen 2" the film is confirmed. Kristen Bell told E! Online that they might start recording next month.

As for the "Frozen 2" soundtrack, she hinted that there would be great songs in the upcoming film. "I think there's going to be a lot of great songs in the next movie, but I don't know if any of them will top 'Let It Go'," she said.

The "Frozen 2" actress revealed that up to now, when she hears "Let It Go," it still gives her tingles. "Nothing should top that. Even when I hear it, hearing it as many times, as I have, every time I hear it, it gives me the tingles."

Meanwhile, per Australia Network, Bell hinted that there would be no duet between her character Anna and Idina Menzel's Elsa.
