Have you ever had the "what if" thinking when it comes to movies? Well, here's some good news for you. Disney has released a teaser video for the deleted scenes in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
All of the deleted scenes will be yours to view (again and again if you want to) when “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” becomes available digitally on April 1 and on Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD on April 5, reports Coming Soon.
These deleted scenes featured in the release include the following, per Gizmodo:
- “Finn and the Villager:" Finn will have a run-in with a Jakku village woman in the opening attack.
- “Tunnel Standoff:” Han Solo, Chewbacca and Finn face a squad of stormtroopers while inside the basement of Maz Kanata's watering hole.
- “Kylo Searches the Falcon:" Kylo Ren leads snowtroopers to the crashed Millennium Falcon at Starkiller Base. He then experiences an emotional remembrance while inside the ship.
- General Leia is introduced earlier in the film while Major Brance receives a distress signal from BB-8, informing them of the attack on a village in Jakku. This is dubbed as the “Jakku Message.”
- “X-Wings Prepare for Lightspeed:” Poe Dameron, along with the other X-Wings, prepare to go lightspeed as they head into battle. This gives fans a chance to see starships in space.
- “Snow Speeder Chase:" Finn and Rey escape the Starkiller base by riding on a First Order snowspeeder while another one chases them.
- “Finn Will Be Fine:” Rey gets an update regarding Finn’s condition from Dr. Kalonia.
“Tunnel Standoff” will only be included in the digital release. It can also be obtained by redeeming the digital code from the Blu-ray version. There are a total of seven deleted scenes, notes Wired.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens” releases digitally on April 1, and on Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD on April 5. Interested? Here's the teaser that Disney and Lucasfilm released.
