Adele News & Update: 'Hello' Singer Plans Her Goodbye? Five-Year Hiatus Set - Fans React!

When Adele is done with her current world tour, the "Hello" hit maker is said to be planning another hiatus. A source close to the singer revealed that Adele intends to be away for five years.

The reason for her taking a time off has to do with her three-year-old boy, Angelo. "She's still very new to motherhood and doesn't want to miss out on Angelo growing up. It will be a hard thing for fans to hear," the source told The Sun.

Adele will wrap up her tour in November, but her reps haven't confirmed if there is indeed any truth to this latest plan, per Daily Mail. She supposedly only told close friends about her decision at this time.

However, Mirror reports that the singer has signified her intention to release a new album before 2016 ends. She apparently told the audience in the Northern Ireland leg of her shows, but admitted she hasn't started writing songs. It should be recalled that when Adele became pregnant with her son, the Grammy-winning singer took a three-year break from the limelight to quietly work on her latest chart-busting album, "25." But Adele also told the audience she's more inspired to work because of her son this time around. "I want him to be proud of me and understand why I do this," the singer said.

When news that Adele was planning another hiatus broke, fans became inconsolable and posted their reactions on social media. "I love that Adele wants to be with Angelo but I don't know can I handle it if Adele takes a long break again, " said Twitter user @adelesoup.

Some fans, however, were more pacified and accepting of the news. "I still feel blessed to have seen Adele," Twitter user ‏@jxxmielstr_ said. "She's taking a 5 year break after this tour and I definitely think I saw her at the right time."
