Zack Snyder Talks About 'Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice' Ending, Reveals 'BVS' Connection To Justice League

Zack Snyder revealed how "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is connected to the upcoming DC Cinematic Universe film, "Justice League." The surprising ending of the recently released "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" shocked every viewer, but Zack Snyder said that it has to be done.

Zack Snyder told Entertainment Weekly that he has to kill Superman (Henry Cavill) in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" to stick to the movie's idea. However, Zack Snyder cleared that Superman might not be "gone forever."

Zack Snyder only wanted Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) to form the group of Justice League. Zack Snyder explained that having Superman around to build the Justice League will look very common as if they are simply joining a team.

"I just feel like Bruce Wayne having to go out and find these seven samurais by himself, that's a lot more interesting of a premise," Zack Snyder said. Also, Zack Snyder felt that having Superman as the leader of the Justice League will make them a powerful group.

If that happens the Justice League will be unmovable, which might make the next movie less appealing. To recall, in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's" ending, Superman faced Doomsday and tried to kill him by using a spear with a Kryptonite tip, Comic Book reports

Superman hit Doomsday in the heart, but before the beast died, it managed to break its spikes and pierced Superman. Unfortunately, Superman, too, got very weak because of being near to the Kryptonite, which also caused his death.

Also, Zack Snyder decided to let Superman die to give way to Batman finding and putting together the Justice League. By not having Superman around, Justice League will now be visible to help Batman and save the world.

"Justice League: Part One" is expected to be released on Nov. 16, 2017 and is directed by Zack Snyder. Watch the fan-made "Justice League" trailer below.
