Sylvia Day's final novel in the "Crossfire" series titled "One With You" is reportedly coming out next month. And since fans have been waiting for the "Crossfire" TV series to finally premiere, does it mean it will finally happening soon?
Sylvia Day, the bestselling author behind the "Crossfire" series, rose to fame when the first installment of the series titled, "Bared To You," became a success. As a matter of fact, all previous "Crossfire" series novels all reached the number one spot on The New York Times' bestseller list, selling more than 17 million copies globally.
Day's first "Crossfire" series novel was released almost at the same time when E.L. James' "50 Shades of Grey" hit bookstores worldwide, Good Ereader notes. And while the "50 Shades" trilogy were signed for a movie adaptation, a television series based on the "Crossfire" novels is reportedly in development at Lionsgate, which has secured the rights to Day's bestselling novels in 2013.
The development of the "Crossfire" TV series is reportedly overseen by Lionsgate Television Group president Kevin Beggs, along with the company's executive vice president Chris Selak. According to a Jobs & Hire report last year, Sylvia Day has confirmed the news of the "Crossfire" TV series in her official website by posting a link to Lionsgate's press release.
Aside from the upcoming "Crossfire" TV series, Lionsgate is also the entertainment giant behind the highly-successful TV adaptation of the novel, "Orange is the New Black." It is also the produces the blockbuster movie franchises "Twilight" and "Hunger Games."
Speaking of the "Crossfire" TV series, there are still no information or details released about its production. However, Day previously revealed that the director was already writing the first script. As for the "Crossfire" TV series cast, fans have some interesting suggestions of their dreamcast posted on IMDb and for Day, the Japanese-American novelist previously revealed that "Batman V Superman' actor Henry Cavill was her personal choice for the character of billionaire businessman Gideon Cross.
"Initially, I thought Henry Cavill, but he's too old for the character now," Day said.

Meanwhile, the final novel in the "Crossfire" series will be released on Apr. 5, 2016. As for the "Crossfire" TV series' release date, Sylvia Day told The Star in a 2014 interview that the TV adaptation might premiere fall of 2015 or spring of 2016, but since no updates were made about the show, a 2016 or 2017 debut still appears uncertain.
