A lot of hype has been surrounding the mobile application game "Pokemon Go" because not only will it promise to change the whole mobile gaming industry but it will give a real time world experience when it comes to gaming for those who love Pokemon. "Pokemon Go" is a project between the Pokemon Company and Google start-up company Niantic, which was actually a April Fool's joke that became reality. Now that "Pokemon Go" is almost at the end of its final development stages, the Pokemon Company and Niantic has revealed some further news about "Pokemon Go."
Just last month, Niantic Japan released a Beta version or a testing version of the mobile gaming app in Japan, which they plan to release worldwide as soon as they get the feedback of the "Pokemon Go" gamers in Japan. With this news, Niantic Japan then released screenshots of "Pokemon Go," which shows a little about how the game works. The screenshots can be seen with Pokemons in real life settings, prancing and being their wild self, a gamer can then capture this Pokemon through the "Pokemon Go" gaming app.
They also released some more news about how one can find Pokemons in the wild. According to Niantic and Pokemon Company, a player can capture a Pokemon in "Pokemon Go" by finding them in their natural habitat. Thus, if the Pokemon is a grass type Pokemon then the gamer can look for some in wooded areas, same goes to water type and ice type Pokemons in "Pokemon Go".
Gamers can also capture Pokemon eggs in "Pokemon Go" and then wait for them to hatch and evolve into adult Pokemons. Good news as well because Niantic and the Pokemon Company will apply the old battles in "Pokemon Go," this includes joining a competitive team and going against another team for the battle of the Pokemons.
"Pokemon Go" is expected to be released later this year.
