This book was written by M.G. King and based on its title; it is from a true story of a librarian hero. In an article published by Fredericksburg, the main character of this book was a sophisticated librarian named Rose Aleta Laurell.

She basically made a lot of kids in Texas fell in love with books again. But not only that, because she created a safe haven where people in her area could just chill and acquire knowledge just like the olden times.

2. "No Pirates Allowed! Said Library Lou"

Authored by Rhonda Gowler Greene is a book that children would appreciate because it is full of action. It is also fun to read since it involves a librarian named Library Lou trying to protect some precious books from the hands of pirates.

3. "Among Others"

Written by Jo Walton, this book offers magic and drama to its readers. According to Public Libraries News, it is about a teenage girl who was caught up in a drama between her mother and her sister. She had to run away from all that and the library and the books turned out to have saved her life.
