New Titles Added to Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Program
This week, three new Xbox 360 games were added to the Xbox One backwards compatibility program. The recent additions to the lineup are "SoulCalibur II," "The King of Fighters '98," and "Halo Wars."
Microsoft has added new games to the program twice during the last two weeks. These are "Assassin's Creed," "Dark Void," "Dark Souls," and "Tekken Tag Tournament 2," GameSpot reported. The tech giant said that there is no certain schedule for the titles' release, and games will be added to the lineup as soon as they are ready.
You can check out the 140-plus titles included in the Xbox One backwards compatibility lineup here.
Microsoft cited licensing agreements as one of the issues why some Xbox 360 titles are not in the program yet. Also, Xbox 360 Kinect titles will not head to the Xbox One backwards compatibility lineup because the two platforms have different Kinect cameras, a separate report from GameSpot noted.
