Gal Gadot gave the immortal princess of Amazons an impressive character that many fell in love with "Wonder Woman" in the "Batman V Superman" film. According to Movie Pilot, the beauty queen turned actress received almost unanimous praise for her performance in the film. As The Washington Post puts it, the film was successful in introducing Wonder Woman to the audience.
Meanwhile, NZHerald reported that the Fandango poll revealed that viewers were most hyped about "Wonder Woman." They believe that the character is best equipped to save superheroes for Hollywood.
The Washington Post notes that one needs a special quality to survive "Wonder Woman" and Gal Gadot has that quality in abundance. Her performance was a transformation.
Many were skeptical after learning that the former "Fast and Furious" star will be the next "Wonder Woman" but her performance in "Batman V Superman" ended all doubts. She showed everyone that she deserved "Wonder Woman," one of the beloved characters in the comic-book.
Gal Gadot will return as "Wonder Woman" in her solo superhero film of the same title. Her first top-billed film is slated for a 2017 release with Chris Pine joining him as Steve Trevor.
"I am so happy to be the one who is going to tell the Wonder Woman story," Gal Gadot told People. "It is such an important story to tell. It is so important for girls and boys to have a female, strong, superhero to look up to."
One fan asked Gal Gadot how she feels to be a role model following her "Wonder Woman" role. "@shadowofmydoubt It feels great! Being a mother, it's very important that #WonderWoman comes back to life, we need more female superheros," was her response.
The "Wonder Woman" solo film will hit the big screens on June 23, 2017.
