The cast and crew of "Sense8" Season 2 have already begun filming. In a recent Twitter post from Anupam Kher, the 61-year-old actor shared his feelings on working back on the set of the Netflix sci-fi drama, reports The Indian Express.

"Happy to start shooting 4 Wachowski's #Sense8 #Season2. It is a Joy to be a part of this amazing series," he tweeted.

Kher also shared a photo of the show's production, which revealed that "Sense8" Season 2 is currently filming in Mumbai. It has been revealed that the upcoming season of the Wachowskis- and Straczynski-led drama will be filmed in at least 16 different cities in the world.

This means that "Sense8" Season 2 release date may take place in late 2016 or early 2017. Fans and viewers are also expecting to see the show premiere in August, given the month's significance to the series and its eight Sensates.

Meanwhile, "Sense8" Season 2 spoilers also hint that Rajan may become the villain in the upcoming season. In an earlier interview with Tina Desai, the actress told International Business Times that Kala and Wolfgang's relationship will be intensified in season 2.
