Fans of "Doctor Who" now have something to do aside from waiting for "Doctor Who" Series 10. The classic science-fiction series now has a "Doctor Who: Comic Creator" application, where fans can use their imagination to create their own stories.
According to Radio Times, the "Doctor Who: Comic Creator" released by BBC Worldwide is now available for download on iOS and Android devices. "Doctor Who: Comic Creator" can be downloaded for free, but extra packs have to be bought.
"Doctor Who: Comic Creator" will let the fans build their own page layouts and choose their personal protagonists and villains. Of course, the epic tale won't be complete without the bad guys. Fans also have the chance to make their own baddies with the Monster Maker feature.
"Doctor Who: Comic Creator" users can do anything they want with their own comics, either to resize, reproduce, flip and rotate before they read it. And just like a real comic book, "Doctor Who: Comic Creator" can be added with various combinations of speech bubbles, props, designs, sound effects and more.
Meanwhile, in a new fan-made theory, it explained why Doctor Who was never a woman. In another Radio Times article, the report shared that Doctor Who has the ability to alter his looks and personality to live much longer.
A Reddit user named alexmchessers justified that not all Doctor Who "regenerations are regenerations." The Reddit member claimed that the Time Lords uses the same technology for regeneration and shape-shifting, which allows them to adapt to the whatever civilization or time they are in. This, too, can make Time Lords merge on a "visual and cellular level" with any kind of species, where they can adapt their looks to their environment.
"The 13-regeneration limit doesn't apply to these voluntary transformations, as their lives are not in danger," the Reddit user said. "Doctor Who" Series 10 is said to be back in Spring 2017.
