It's been over a week since Apple held their Spring event. Many were disappointed that MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016 were not in attendance. However, the hype about the upcoming laptops continues to grow.
For those who are still waiting for the new models of the MacBook lineup, according to International Business Times, there are rumors that MacBook Pro and MacBook Air will have these seven features. These features and specs will surely blow you away and convince you to wait for its arrival.
1. Slimmer Design - Parent Herald previously reported that Apple is gearing up for new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models that are ultra-thin, lighter and more portable.
Martin Hakej, a digital artist, has designed concept renders based on the rumored 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro redesigns. His output also resembles some key design from last year's 12-inch MacBook, Trusted Reviews reported. One of the obvious differences of the MacBook Pro concept renders from the old model is its keyboard, which is no scaled to the edges of the device.
2. Skylake Chipsets - Since Apple's competitors, including Dell, HP and Microsoft already used Intel's latest processor, Skylake, there are rumors that Apple will use it for their new MacBook models as well.
3. Supports Siri - The rumor mills are reporting that MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016 may come with Apple's vice-assistant app, Siri. At the time, this feature is not available for all MacBook models. However, there are speculations that the next edition of Mac OS X will include Siri and will deliver weather reports, sports update and other information quickly.
4. Touch ID finger print sensor - Apple has already made this feature available for their iPad and iPhone lineups. There are reports that the Cupertino-based tech giant will also introduce this new feature in their upcoming MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models.
5. More Ports and Storage - Apple just released their new 9.7-inch iPad that is available in 32 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. These impressive storages trigger rumors that MacBook Pro 2016 could arrive with 256 base storage. There are also talks that MacBook Pro and MacBook Air will arrive with multiple USB-C Type ports.
6. Supports External Graphics Card - MacBook users have to shed extra money for a higher MacBook Pro configuration model to fully enjoy high-end games. There are speculations that this might not be necessary anymore because MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air will now support external graphic cards.
7. Solar Feature - There are reports claiming that Apple has secured a solar patent, which triggers rumors that the next MacBook Air and MacBook Pro are going to be solar-powered.
At the time, MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016 are expected to arrive in June during Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which is scheduled on June 13 - 17.
