Experts Suggest That Transgender Conditioning Is A Form Of Child Abuse

The American College of Pediatricians released a warning against transgender conditioning among young children. It was mentioned that policies which conditions children to accept transgenderism can be a form of child abuse.

A statement from the American College of Pediatricians was cited by the Daily Caller wherein it was mentioned that any policy that encourages children to believe that transgenderism is normal is a form of child abuse. It mentioned that Paul McHugh, one of the co-authors of the statement emphasized that sex-reassignment is not the possible solution to address the child's underlying problem.

"Conditioning children into believing a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful is child abuse," as mentioned in the statement from the American College of Pediatricians.

"When an otherwise healthy biological boy believes he is a girl, or an otherwise healthy biological girl believes she is a boy, an objective psychological problem exists that lies in the mind not the body, and it should be treated as such," the statement added.

The American College of Pediatricians came up with a movement as they pointed out that transgender conditioning can be a form of child abuse. They urged legislators and educators to go against the policies which urged children to think that it is normal to view transgenderism as a form of chemical and surgical attempt to transition into the opposite sex. They gave out eight fact which is listed on their website. Three of which are:

Each individual is born without a gender

It was emphasized that each individual is born with a biological sex. Gender, on the other hand, is a conscious sociological and psychological choice which an individual can adapt.

Gender confusion

If an individual tends to be someone of the opposite sex, even if he/she is not, it can be considered as gender confusion. It should be addressed accordingly, not just by giving the person the freedom to move forward and choose the gender that he/she opts for.

Suicide rate

American College of Pediatricians pointed out that adults who partake of cross-sex hormones and undergo sex change operations are likely to commit suicide. The statistics include Sweden which is one of the LGBT loving countries.
