'Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness' Hits North American Shores on June 28

Fans of the "Star Ocean" franchise has a reason to celebrated. The game's latest installment, "Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness," will be coming to Western shores a few months from now.

The famous RPG game is scheduled for release on June 28, 2016 for the PlayStation 4, reports Siliconera. This news comes from the Square Enix Online Store, which lists the game as available for pre-order at $59.99.

A "Day One Edition" of the game is reported to bring some items that, when equipped, give in-game bonuses when the game is finally released. Here are the items:

• Bushybrume Cincture -- Reduces the amount of MP a character uses

• Gold Bunny Statue -- Increases the experience and money (Fol) earned

• Ring of the Valkyries -- Increases the attack, intelligence and critical rate of a character

• Secret Stahlian Tome -- Increases the amount of health healed

• Wristlet of the Stars -- Decreases the amount of damage a character takes

In addition to the bonus items, the "Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness" Day One Edition will also allow players to enjoy background music from "Valkyrie Profile" and "Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria." Players will be given the option to swap the in-game battle music with music from the said games.

"Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness" will be released for PlayStation 4 systems in Japan on March 31, 2016 (that's today), followed by a release for PlayStation 3 systems on April 28, 2016. PlayStation 4 owners in Europe will see the RPG released in summer.

Meanwhile, in another news related to the game, "Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness" producer Shuichi Kobayashi is reported to have a proposal for "Valkyrie Profile 3" saved on his personal computer, reports Gematsu.

Kobayashi said during a Dengeki Online livestream that should the planned inclusion of "Valkyrie Profile 2" music into "Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness" not "sell, we won't make a sequel." This simply means that those who want a sequel should show support for it.

Additionally, when Dengeki staff asked Kobayashi regarding sequels for both "Star Ocean" and "Valkyrie Profile," the producer replied "To be frank, there is a proposal on my computer. Let me show it already!"
