Nike's Jordan brand is making a lot of releases -- not to mention money -- that are slated to arrive in a few days' time, and for sure, fans are excited for them. Here are some details about two of the upcoming releases: the Air Jordan XII "Wings" and the Jordan 2 Retro Low "Gym Red."
The Air Jordan XII "Wings" is a flight-themed shoe that will remind fans of the days when Michael Jordan used to fly in the court, reports Sneaker News. This shoe has a black leather base that comes with white portions and gold accents for the eyelets and the signature "wings" detail midway through the shoe.
And while the shoe looks pretty neat while still new, the Air Jordan XII "Wings" also features a cool-looking detail when the shoe material naturally wears out, per another Sneaker News report. Buried in the shoe's material is a gold and black pattern that will make the cleanly uniform look of the Jordan "Wings" change into a different but more pronounced design.
Nike says the Air Jordan XII "Wings" will be released via a raffle on April 2, 2016 at 10 a.m. ET. It will be sold for $190 per pair.
The Jordan 2 Retro Low "Gym Red," on the other hand, is a low-cut sneaker that comes in the color that gets stands at the peak when monotone silhouettes are involved, reports The Boom Box. And that color is simply red -- the shoe is covered in gym red all over save for the insole which has a different, but also fun, color.
As for the design, the Jordan 2 "Gym Red" will feature textured leather against a plastic heel cap so that the shoe will have a more luxurious feel than before. The Air Jordan 2 Retro Low "Gym Red" will also be available from select Nike retailers starting April 2. The price is yet to be announced.
