The coming of GoPro Hero 5 has been already confirmed by GoPro CEO, Nick Woodman, but the official release is not yet revealed. However, there are emerging news GoPro Hero 5 will be unveiled in October and the specs and features now surface.
According to Breathe Cast, GoPro is going to improve the new GoPro Hero 5 by modifying GoPro Hero 5's software and hardware. Nick Woodman promises GoPro's "existing hardware products" and the new GoPro Hero 5 will have a better connection with smart phones and the cloud.
Nick Woodman revealed they are going to develop GoPro's hardware to be equal to the advance technology of the software. With this, GoPro Hero 5 will be equipped with Qualcomm, a Snapdragon 800 processor and A10 chip.
Value Walk reported that GoPro Hero 5 has the ability to shoot videos with 8k resolution. If this indeed is true, GoPro Hero 5 will be the first gadget in the market to have 8k resolution.
8k resolution is described as "ultra high definition recording standard" is not yet revealed as part of the "mainstream technology." Also, there are no other devices available that can play 8k videos.
GoPro Hero 5, too, is capable of taking videos at 60 frames per second over "detailed resolutions." GoPro Hero 5 is set to have a more durable battery life compared to its predecessors.
GoPro Hero 5 is powered by a 2,800 mAh battery that will make the device last longer. GoPro Hero 5, too, is drone ready, has underwater focus, dual-lens setup and Bluetooth.
GoPro Hero 5 will be the handiest of them all as it is will be the sleekest and lighter GoPro one could have in contrast to the previous GoPro models. GoPro Hero 5 might be priced with around $450 and $550.
