"Rocket League" is about to release a new feature that will make its fans even more excited. "Rocket League" new basketball mode called "Dunk House" is about to be revealed in time of NBA playoffs, which will start in April.
According to Polygon, "Rocket League" teased all its fans and followers on their official Twitter page on Friday. "Rocket League" revealed that "Dunk House" is coming in April along with a gif image of its signature 4x4 racing car in a basketball court, shooting a ball in the loop.
"Break some axles in the Dunk House this April!" Psyonix, "Rocket League" game developer, captioned the image. By the looks of the new feature, the jump button will be the most used in "Rocket League" as cars have to drive up to the net to fly.
"Rocket League" was released in 2015 and quickly became a hit. Psyonix has been working for "Rocket League" since 2011 when it is still called "Battle Car 2."
"Rocket League" is Psyonix's remake of the known vehicle soccer video game, "Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars." "We wasted a lot of time concepting and experimenting with scale because we had this fixation on not being perceived as RC cars," Corey Davis, design director at Psyonix, said, as per Euro Gamer.
In the early days of "Rocket League," anyone who owned PlayStation at that time often bought "Rocket League." At that time, "the console's library" still looked thinner compared to the system today. And if the gamer is a PS Plus subscriber, they will have the advantage of having "Rocket League" as a free download.
Meanwhile, "Rocket League" is available on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. Microsoft recently announced they would make Xbox One available to "cross-platform multiplayer," which "Rocket League" will be the first game to do so.
