Spider-Man already made his appearance in a video teaser of "Captain America: Civil War" and the friendly superhero is about to be seen in an untitled "Spider-Man Reboot." But before everyone will see Spider-Man again hit the big screen, Jon Bernthal has something to say about the new "Spider-Man Reboot" star, Tom Holland.
According to Comic Book, Jon Bernthal and Tom Holland worked together in the past for another film, "Pilgrimage." Jon Bernthal had the chance to personally know Tom Holland and all he could say were praises for the new "Spider-Man" actor.
Jon Bernthal and Tom Holland filmed "Pilgrimage" in Ireland and lived in an isolated area of Western Island together with other film crew. Jon Bernthal said that they lived and ate together and stayed in the set all day.
"And I got to tell you, in all my years in Hollywood, I'm probably more impressed with Tom Holland than anyone else I've ever met," Jon Bernthal expressed about meeting Tom Holland. At an early age of 19, Jon Bernthal found Tom Holland as a "force of nature."
Jon Bernthal revealed that he personally saw Tom Holland tried his best to secure the role of "Spider-Man." "He fought for it. He just went out and got it. That's not an easy feat," Jon Bernthal added.
Meanwhile, Collider reported that Jon Bernthal's role as the "Punisher" is getting a spinoff. However, Marvel denied the claims but, it looks like they are doing some unrevealed developments.
Hence, in an interview with Complex, Jon Bernthal revealed a few things about the "Punisher." For Jon Bernthal, it is not important how people behind the "Punisher" do what they want with the character but, the how they will be able to justify the role and the actor that will play it.
Jon Bernthal explained his character as "Daredevil" is already injected in his blood and bones. Jon Bernthal makes sure that he is portraying his role in a "raw and intense" way to bring back the interests of the audience.
"Spider-Man" is expected to be released in 2017. "Pilgrimage" starring Jon Bernthal and Tom Holland will be this 2016.
