Actress Malin Akerman is as unconventional as some of her movie roles. She is in her second trimester and relieved to say goodbye to her morning sickness.
"I feel great!" the actress, who is due in April told Us Weekly during the Opportunity International event in Venice, Oct.18. "They say that your second trimester is when you get most of your energy and it's the 'easiest' part of the pregnancy. Now I kind of feel like my body has acclimated a little bit."
However, she has an idea about the third trimester.
"The last three months, I think it must feel heavy. That's what I'm guessing," the 34-year-old told Us Weekly.
This is the first child of the Swedish-Canadian actress and her Italian musician husband Roberto Zincone, who met in 2003 and tied the knot in 2007.
"He's so excited. So excited," Akerman, who confirmed her pregnancy in September, told Us Weekly, referring to Zincone. "We've been together long enough, we've talked about it enough that it just feels really right and we can't wait."
The "Watchmen" star earlier had revealed glimpses of her happy life with Zincone.
"I really hit the jackpot," People magazine quoted Akerman's opinion about her husband to Women's Health in 2009. "Roberto is so accepting and supportive."
Akerman, born in Sweden and brought up in Canada made an entry into the glamor world through television commercials. She drew wide attention for nude scenes in movies like "Watchmen" and "The Heartbreak."
