Pippa Middleton, younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine Middleton, is reportedly engaged to her banker boyfriend Nico Jackson.
The 30-year-old event-planner has been dating Nico for 15 months.
The latest issue of Us Weekly says that the love birds got engaged early December and might exchange vows in 2014.
The sources revealed that Nico proposed to Pippa on their trip to India's Oberoi Amarvilas, a five-star resort, supposedly a popular spot for engagement. "It was exactly how he planned it," one source said. "Very romantic and grand!"
But it is not clear how far the reports are true. No ring was seen on Pippa's finger when the couple was spotted after their vacation in London, reported E! Online. "Pippa and Nico made a pact to travel to lots of exotic locations before walking down the aisle to start a family," a source close to the couple revealed.
According to Daily Mail, insiders clarified that Pippa and Nico were not engaged.
Pippa gained wide attention during her sister's marriage with Prince William. People appreciated her fashion style as she was soberly dressed in a white, form-fitting Alexander McQueen gown as maid of honor for Kate Middleton. But for her marriage, she revealed that she would be a non-traditional bride.
"If I had to get married, it would be in my tennis whites - shorts with no pleats or frills," she wrote in Vanity Fair's Wimbledon coverage during the summer. She also confessed that as a growing child she was a tomboy and great lover of tennis.
