Guns N' Roses News & Update: Axl Rose, Slash Marks Reunion Performance In Troubadour Gig

It has been almost 23 years since Guns N' Roses performed on one stage together at Buenos Aires on July 17, 1993. Now, Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan were reunited in their much-awaited Troubadour gig in West Hollywood, California on April 1.

According to Blabbermouth, Axl Rose (vocals), Slash (guitarist) and Duff McKagan (bassist) were joined by Dizzy Reed (keyboardist), Richard Fortus (guitarist) and Frank Ferrer (drummer). Also, the first Guns N' Roses first female band member, Melissa Reese (second keyboardist), was introduced.

It is the first time Guns N' Roses performed their hits songs, "Chinese Democracy" and "Better", which were part of their 2008 "Chinese Democracy" album. Guns N' Roses initially presented "It's So Easy" and "Mr. Brownstone" to their excited fans.

Other songs Guns N' Roses played are their all-time favorites, "Welcome to the Jungle," "The Godfather Theme," "Sweet Child O' Mine," "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" (Bob Dylan cover) and "Paradise City." Moreover, as per Rolling Stone, Guns N' Roses officially announced their "Not in This Lifetime" concert tour.

"Not in This Lifetime" will start on June 23 at Detroit's Ford Field and ends on August 22 at San Diego's Qualcomm Park. Other than that, Guns N' Roses is also set to perform a couple concerts in Las Vegas and Mexico City.

Guns N' Roses will also grace both of the Coachella weekends on April 16 and April 23. Meanwhile, Guns N' Roses didn't only entice a lot of crowd in their reunion gig but a number of celebrities as well, Daily Mail reported.

Seen in the VIP section of Troubadour are Kate Hudson, Bradley Cooper, Emily Ratajkowksi, Lenny Kravitz, Michelle Rodriguez, Chris Brown, Jim Carrey and Nicolas Cage. The A-list stars are definitely enjoying the performance of Guns N’ Roses at their private seating areas overlooking the crowd.
