Kanye West Pulls Off 'Life of Pablo' Exclusivity on Jay-Z's Tidal: Album Now Has Wider Release

Kanye West's new album, "Life of Pablo," is no longer exclusive on Jay-Z's music streaming service, Tidal. The full album of "The Life of Pablo" can now be heard on other music services like Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play and SoundCloud.

According to Yahoo Finance, after a few days upon "The Life of Pablo" released, Kanye West pointed out his Twitter page his album will only be available on Tidal. "My album will never never never be on Apple... You can only get it on Tidal," Kanye West tweeted.

However, after six weeks, Kanye West changed his mind and made "The Life of Pablo" accessible to other streaming services. Tidal already address the issue of their artists exclusivity and end of contract on their company.

Tidal revealed that they support their stars' decision on how they want their content to be distributed, whether it is exclusive for Tidal or not. The New York Times reported "The Life of Pablo" music is already streamed on Tidal 400 million times.

Out of the 400 million streamed, 250 million were listened to in the first 10 days of "The Life of Pablo" released. Tech Crunch noted "The Life of Pablo" helped Tidal to be one of the sought after music applications.

Tidal is now the number four Top Grossing Music application in the U.S. Apple App Store, number 55 on Top Grossing Overall application and made it at the Top 20 Music app. However, Kanye West's continuing change of mind had its toll in the release of "The Life of Pablo."

To recall, after Kanye West launched "The Life of Pablo" worldwide, Kanye West changed his mind again and pulled off "The Life of Pablo" on his website. Hence, a lot of fans complained they already bought "The Life of Pablo" but, they didn't get what they paid for.
