A trailer especially made for fans of superhero movies has been released. Is this a dream come true or another wish moment?
When superhero clash movies such as "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Captain America: Civil War" are appearing this year, all fans will agree that one thing is missing: one that pits Marvel superheroes with DC superheroes. Now, a new trailer that features heroes from both worlds fighting each other has appeared, reports Comic Book.
The video, made by Shawn Nider, is a hypothetical trailer that shows what fans of both franchises hope for, in a very "Avenger-ish"and "Justice League-ish" way: fighting, or in a Hulk way, smashing. The video pits characters such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the Flash against the Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, War Machine and Quicksilver. Aquaman and Cyborg are nowhere to be found, though, as video footages appear to be those that are already released - and then glued together in a very good way.
The editor apparently enjoyed matching the video clips together: Ironman chased by the Batwing, the Flash running against Quicksilver, the Hulk smashing against Superman and against Wonder Woman in another scene, and War Machine raining bullets against Superman. While the idea is every fanboy's dream, seeing a movie like this will take a lot of time and negotiations in reality.
On the bright side, there has been several instances in the past wherein both franchises meet halfway, and the heroes join sides to fight a greater evil, reports Screen Rant. One such crossover was 1996's "DC Vs. Marvel" limited series where some of the characters were in what was called an "Amalgam:" a new universe containing combined versions of characters (i.e. Batman + Wolverine = Dark Claw, Superman + Captain America = Super Soldier).
Another crossover was 2003's "JLA/Avengers" where characters from both universes fought against each other but eventually teamed up to save both of their worlds.
