New 'Star Wars' Trailer Featuring Han Solo Is A Tearjerker

A new trailer featuring one of the most beloved and iconic "Star Wars" character comes to light, and it's one that will bring gripped and deeply-invested fans and audiences to tears.

SPOILER ALERT! While it's quite likely that you've watched the recent "Star Wars" movie and already know the plot or ending, having spoilers still isn't a good thing for you. If you want to avoid spoilers (or being reminded of a sad story arc), check out the great reveal that happened during the "Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV" event or the new "Rise of the Tomb Raider" DLC instead. Otherwise, keep reading.

Everybody knows Han Solo, the smuggler, rebel and war hero that made fans sad at his death in the recent "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" movie. Well, there's a new trailer that shows just how Harrison Ford's character developed, and it's just amazing, reports Cinema Blend.

Fans (or viewers of the trailer) will remember how Han started out as a selfish smuggler in "A New Hope" many years ago. Back then, he didn't believe in anything about a 'mumbo jumbo' called the Force, but after spending a lot of time flying the Millennium Falcon (eventually losing it sometime in the "Star Wars"universe), avoiding lasers from sharp-eyed storm troopers, being Luke Skywalker's best bud, growing his affection for Leia Organa (and Luke's rival before they found out that they shouldn't be) and understanding Chewie's gnarling language, he becomes the best person to introduce Rey and others to the Force in "The Force Awakens."

However, towards the end of the story, Han dies at the hands (and by the lightsaber) of his own son Ben Solo/Kylo Ren who apparently has daddy issues. While "Star Wars" fans became sad at the death of Han, actor Harrison Ford actually embraced the ending.

"I wanted Han Solo to be able to lend some significant emotional weight to the story," Ford told Good Morning America during an interview.

That sums it up. Watch the trailer below.
