Yo-Kai Watch Comes To Netflix &The Cartoon Network; Release Date & Other Details Here

“Yo-Kai Watch” will soon become available on Netflix and Cartoon Network. The anime will be shown on Netflix in the United States and on the Cartoon Network in the United Kingdom, starting Apr. 23, 2016.

Akihiro Hino, president of Level-5, said that they have been planning to create completely new events particularly for the western market.

Hardcore Gamer reveals that “Yo-Kai Watch” debuted in North America in fall 2015. It included an anime, toy line and 3DS game. The series previously aired exclusively on DisneyXD in the United States. At present, Netflix has 26 episodes available for streaming. It is still uncertain how long these will stay available.

fter the U.K. launch, “Yo-Kai Watch” will become available in over 100 territories around the world, according to Animation Magazine. It will launch in France on BOING in April 2016, on Gulli on Sept. 1 and on Cartoon Network in March 2017. Starting May 21, the show will also become available in Germany, Belgium, Austria and the Netherlands on Nickelodeon. “Yo-Kai Watch” will air in Italy on BOING on the Cartoon Network in April 2016. The show will also air in Africa and Spain on BOING in May 2016. The show will continue to air in CEE, Portugal, Poland, Turkey and the Nordics in April and May. It will also arrive in Israel, Ukraine and Russia soon.

“Yo-Kai Watch Wibble Wobble” became available on Mar. 24, 2016 for iOS and Android products, notes My Nintendo News. Players for the first “Yo-Kai Watch” game for the Nintendo 3DS will find several familiar characters in the mobile version. Those who watch the show on Netflix and the Cartoon Network will see several old characters from the original anime series. There may be enhancements in the video and audio too. The original names of the characters will most likely be retained.

Level-5 is the developer and publisher of “Yo-Kai Watch,” a series of role-playing video games. The original game launched in Japan in 2013 and in North America in November 2015. The sequel, Yo-Kai Watch 2,” became available in three versions. “Yo-Kai Watch 3,” the third game, will launch in summer 2016. An animated movie also launched in 2014, while the second launched a year later. The TV anime series aired in Japan in 2014. Since then, Level-5 has been looking for merchandising partners in North America.
