Once again, Taylor Swift led the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2016 at The Forum Inglewood, California on April 3. Taylor Swift bagged almost all of the best recognitions and added four trophies in her growing honors.
According to Newsweek, Taylor Swift won iHeartRadio Music Awards' Best Female Artist, Best Album, Best Tour and Best Meme-able Moment. Taylor Swift's mascara flow in the music video of the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Award for Best Lyrics, "Blank Space," has been shared mostly on social media.
As Swift delivered her speech for Best Tour for "1989," the pop star gave credit to her boyfriend, Calvin Harris. "For the first time I had the most amazing person to come home to when the spotlight went out and when the crowds were all gone," Swift said.
"So I want to thank my boyfriend Adam for that and I love you guys so much," Swift added. Many were surprised when Taylor Swift said the name Adam, which was the real name of Calvin Harris.
Calvin Harris, on the other hand, won iHeartRadio Music Awards' Best Dance Artist. Other stars that triumphed during the iHeartRadio Music Awards are U2's Bono and the Edge for Innovator Award, presented by the 2015 winner, Pharrell Williams.
Adele won Song of the Year for her hit single "Hello." Adele received the Song of the Year award via a video message from Birmingham, England, The Times Herald reported.
Chris Brown got the R&B artist of the year while Pitbull bagged Latin artist of the year. Fetty Wap won the Best New Artist and of the three stars join together for a performance.
Jason Derulo, who's the main host of iHeartRadio Music Awards 2016, earned the Male Artist of the Year. Jason Derulo shared the dance floor with Diplo and Skrillex to the tune of "Where Are U Now," which acquired the Song of the Year Award. Maroon 5 was named as the Group of the Year.
