Halloween night is coming closer. Children may be excited about the unlimited treats awaiting them. However, parents often are worried about tracking their little ones in the crowd.
Now, a new app, "MamaBear" can help parents to monitor their children and ensure their safety.
The app comes at a time when more than 500 children below 14 years are killed in pedestrian accidents every year at the Halloween night.
The app, developed by a company in Tampa enables parents to keep an eye on their children when they are at school or outside the house.
The MamaBear parental monitoring app installed both on the parent's iOS device and the GPS enabled IPhone of the child, shows the exact location of the child on map.
It informs the parent through alerts when the child leaves an area, outside programmed in the device and also enables them to inspect their online and social media activities or over speed of the child when driving a car.
Children can also easily keep in touch with their parents, during emergency situations.
"Our vision for this is worry-free parenting, and that's a grand vision," Robyn Spoto, president of MamaBear, told Fox News Latino. "But we want to help parents tame some of that anxiety when their children are exploring the world without them.
"Our biggest job is to protect our children, and when we hand them a phone and say 'here you go,' we're opening them up to a world of dangers," she said.
However, children are not that much happy about their parent's presence everywhere they go.
"They'll know every place we are, which I mean is a good thing when it comes to our day in age, but as a kid, you just want your little ounce of freedom," Kyle, a band student at Mitchell High School, told Fox Latino News.
