1. "Ash vs. Evil Dead" Season 2 New Cast
"Ash vs. Evil Dead" Season 2 is reportedly adding a trio of actors to its cast. According to Collider, Sam Raimi's brother Ted Raimi is set to appear in "Ash vs. Evil Dead" Season 2 as Ash Williams' (Bruce Campbell) best friend from high school, Chet Kaminski, who will join his pal's quest to hell.
In addition, "Daredevil" star Michele Hurd will also appear in "Ash vs. Evil Dead" Season 2. Hurd will play Ash's high school love interest Linda and Lee Majors will play the role of Ash's long-lost father, Brock Williams.
2. "Ash vs. Evil Dead" Season 2 Party?
Prior to "Ash vs. Evil Dead" Season 2 premiere, Starz has revealed the first official photo for the second season. The image hinted that Ash's fun shindig in Florida where he can be seen chainsawing a keg, IGN notes.
"When you have a chain-saw hand, this is how you tap a keg," executive producer Craig DiGregorio jokingly said about the photo, as per TV Insider. "Unfortunately for Ash, the party is cut short when he must return home to continue the fight against evil."
Meanwhile, Ash's relocation to Jacksonville, Florida came after having abdicated the Necronomicon to Ruby (Lucy Lawless) in exchange for his friends' lives. However, Ash still needs to come home to fight against evil.
