Nathan Griffith planted a huge grin on his face after his larceny charges were dismissed. Jenelle Evans filed the charges against her baby daddy Nathan Griffith on Jan. 24.
Jenelle Evans filed larceny against Nathan Griffith after he allegedly drove off with their car. Aside from storming off with their car, Jenelle also added that Nathan Griffith drove off with $1000 worth of her personal belongings.
Though it took a while for the authorities to find a lead on Nathan Griffith's whereabouts, it was reported that he turned himself to the authorities on Jan. 24. As the hearing progresses both Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith came into a settlement leading to the case dismissal.
Nathan Griffith's attorney, Megan Milliken shared the court details with Radar Online. Griffith's attorney stated that the case has been successfully dismissed.
"They went to mediation today and the state will be filing a dismissal in court," Milliken told Radar. "The case has been dismissed. Any day one of my clients gets a dismissal is great day. We are happy with the outcome."
The Hollywood Gossip dished out a more detailed twist on what happened as to why the case dismissed. It was mentioned that Nathan Griffith was asked to pay for the baby's clothes that were missing in order for the case to be dismissed.
"Jenelle agreed for Nathan to pay her $300 for Kaiser's missing clothes and then the charges will be dropped once he pays Jenelle," the insider told the Hollywood Gossip. Nathan paid $200 already and has a week to pay the other $100."
Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith had their fair share of court appearances. Aside from the larceny case, the ex-couple are still engaged in another court proceeding. Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith are still facing a custody battle for their one-year-old son, Kaiser.
