The hit NBC television show "Grimms" has been renewed for a 6th season and fans of "Grimm" are very excited about it. "Grimm" was a low profile television show produced by NBC, which was launch alongside another supernatural series from TV network ABC, "Once Upon A Time."
Now, it seems like "Grimm" will be on television for a while longer. "Grimm" is produced by Sean Hayes and Tod Milliner and is in line with other hit TV series "Hannibal," "Dracula," "Crossbones" and "Constantine," but "Grimm" outlasted all of this TV shows.
Other TV shows renewed for another season by NBC includes TV series "The Blindspot," "Shades of Blue," "Chicago Fire," "Chicago PD," "Chicago Med And Law & Order: SVU," as well as the hit comedy show "Superstore." NBC believes that "Grimm" will gather more viewers' overtime and that "Grimm" will showcase a lot more new stuff for the wide audience not only in North America but all around the world.
"We absolutely love what our producers and cast have accomplished over the past five seasons," NBC Entertainment's Jennifer Salke said. "They have created a whole new world of creatures and have a truly devoted fan base. We can't wait to see what comes next."
"Grimm" season 5 average ratings are 1.7 in adults ages 18-49 and gathered over 6.4 million viewers overall in "live plus seven days," this is according to the survey of Nielsen Media Research. "Grimm" is notorious for being the most time-shifted series on NBC due to its every changing and increasing viewer. NBC's "Grimm" also generates a high upscale audience with viewers that are living in homes with $100k+ as income, indexing at a 111 among adults 18-49.
"Grimm" stars Russel Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, and Bree Turner. There is no news as to when the exact date of "Grimm" season 6 will start its production.
