One of the most awaited films today is the next installment of the "Fast and Furious" franchise. New reports suggest that "Fast and Furious 8" is already in the works. Are you excited?
According to WKYC, "The Fast and Furious 8" will be filming some scenes in Northeast Ohio and they need some local crew to join the production. "The Second Unit of Fast 8 is requesting submissions for local crew and vendors for its upcoming Cleveland shoot," was written on the Greater Cleveland Film Commission's website. "Those interested may contact the production by email only at fast82u@gmail.com."
For those who are wondering when filming will begin, according to OLV, "Fast and Furious 8" will film next month.
Unfortunately, the report notes that the Cleveland shoot will mostly be second unit, so for those hoping to see Vin Diesel on the set that might be unlikely. Most projects with a big budget film their stunt scenes in smaller cities where shutting down roads is easier.
Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris are all set to reprise their roles. The cast will be filming "Fast and Furious 8" in New York and Iceland. There are also rumors that they will film in Atlanta and Cuba.
Meanwhile, there are rumors that an actor from the past "Fast and Furious" franchise will return to fill in Paul Walker's shoes. Parent Herald previously reported that Lucas Black will return in "Fast and Furious 8." The rumor mills are reporting that he will be Vin Diesel's next road partner following Paul Walker untimely demise.
Lucas Black first appeared in "Tokyo Drift" to inform Dominic Toretto that Han was killed by Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham). It is difficult to confirm how Black will join the "Fast and Furious" team, but according to reports, Dom might contact him when things go awry and they need a skilled man to drive for them.
Are you excited for "Fast and Furious 8?"
"Fast and Furious 8" will hit the big screens on April 14, 2017.
